You search my eyes, and I wonder...Who are you?
Your face... maybe I remember... or your eyes....
Do we know each other?

Stranger... stranger.... remember....

A childhood friend? What? Don't I remember, you ask?
I am trying. I promise. These tears of fear and frustration beginning to well up.... because.....

I can't remember my childhood.

Anyone think this might be worthy of a DD?

It is sad... but I wanted to raise awareness for this disease because other diseases are given much more support and recognition when this disease hurts families just as badly. Thank you for caring.

How long do I sit here?
I just reminded you of who I am
I cannot forget you

I am right here, right next to you

I didn't think you would ever forget me
I have always loved you; I don't know what to do

I was once a child in your arms

I have had to deal with two relatives that had Alzheimers that led to chronic alzheimers which led to their deaths... eventually, the brain itself stops remembering how to function properly.

I was placing myself in the mindset of someone more directly affected... but I had an idea.
