Put the "u"in human. Compassion. Honesty. Faith. Hope. We're not all liars... or are we? We are all broken all imperfect. We're all beautiful beautiful in imperfection. I believe in "u".
When I saw this photo, what instantly caught my eye was the excellent composition. The contrast between the red bricks and the grey-white wall, works really well. Now, concept-wise: The handprint and the letters look as if they were written in blood. I would also compare the damaged white surface of the wall to the human soul. As you state in the artist's description , we are all broken and imperfect. Sometimes with bruises that won't ever heal. But even though we have experienced so many mishaps, we don't lose our faith in human nature. Using our blood, still running from our wounds, we declare that faith. Faith in ourselves first of all, but also faith in every other human being, cause we can't and we shouldn't live on our own. Every time we fall, we pick up the pieces and move on. We trust. Again. Though we are aware there's a big chance , life, will get us down..once more. Our will to live and love and share is stronger than the fear of rejection, the fear of betrayal, the fear of loss.
Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say about this artwork...
