"Then God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. " This was part of the making of my piece "Believe"
Overall, I love this. The colours are great, and textures. the colours make me think of the sort of extremes of the spectrum in the skin featured here - from the light blue hue to a darker reddish pink. The brick dust brings this out brilliantly, and then those smudges of silvery-blue - perfect. The background is great for the subject, though maybe a bit inconsistent in focus? I'm not sure about the lighting though. It is a bit glare-y on the wrist which detracts from the whole a bit, I think. And it might be more pleasing to the eye, as it were, if the hand were more precisely framed. The space at the top seems too large, making it look a bit uneven.
